Hockey Canada announced Friday that Niagara IceDogs defenceman Vince Dunn is leaving Canada's National Junior Team Selection Camp to have treatment for a pre-existing injury that will keep him out for the rest of camp and the tournament.

Dunn, a prospect with the St. Louis Blues, has eight goals and 24 points in 26 OHL games this season. His departure leaves 10 defencemen battling for seven spots on the final roster.

The selection camp continues through the weekend with two games against a team of players from Canadian Interuniversity Sport on Saturday at 7:3pm et/4:30pm pt (TSN GO) and Sunday at Noon et/9am pt (TSN GO).

In total, 22 players will be selected to represent Canada at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship, Dec. 26, 2015 to Jan. 5, 2016 in Helsinki, Finland.
