According to Masters, defencemen Nikita Zaitsev and Roman Polak were not on the ice at Leafs' practice. It is unclear why forward Tyler Bozak was not in practice. However, goaltender Frederik Andersen was in net after missing the final game of the regular season.
According to the Toronto Sun's Steve Simmons, a source is reporting that Zaistev, "will be all right to go" for Game 1 against the Capitals.

Defenceman John Carlson, who missed the last four games of the season with a lower-body injury, returned to practice on Tuesday and appears to be ready for Game 1 against the Toronto Maple Leafs Thursday night.
