Semyon Varlamov will soon be activated from injured reserve. The 27-year-old has missed the last seven games because of a groin injury and is expected to get the start in Monday's game against the Winnipeg Jets. - Denver Post

Head coach Paul Maurice had no update on Ondrej Pavelec's injury, other than he won't be available Monday against the Avalanche. The team will wait for a report on Pavelec from doctors but if he is out for a while, Maurice does plan to play Connor Hellebuyck. - TSN

The Jets recalled goaltender Connor Hellebuyck from the AHL's Manitoba Moose. Hellebuyck, 22, played in 10 games with the Moose this season, posting a save percentage of .927 and has a 2.41 goals against average. - Team Release
