Per TSN's Brent Wallace, defenceman Thomas Chabot is back skating this morning. He hasn't practised since taking a hard hit along the boards in Monday night's scrimmage.

Colin White's line with Alex Galchenyuk and Michael Haley appear to be the fifth line as all are wearing grey jerseys.

Forward Nikolaj Ehlers is absent from the team's morning skate. However, it is an optional skate with 11 forwards and seven defencemen taking part. Adam Lowry, Paul Stastny, Dylan DeMelo and Derek Forbort are also absent, per TSN's Sara Orlesky.

DeMelo will miss tonight's game after his wife gave birth so Sami Niku will draw in. Mathieu Perreault and Logan Stanley have been moved from the taxi squad to the roster.
