According to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun, the National Hockey League is looking into an incident that occurred on Monday night in which Tampa Bay Lightning forward J.T. Brown smashed the camera of a fan in Nashville.

Video obtained by TMZ showed Brown smashing the phone of a fan that had been filming him in the tunnel late in the Predators' 3-1 win over the Lightning. TMZ spoke to the fan, Brendan Johansen, and report that he is not mad and will not be taking any legal action - he just wants the team to buy him a new phone.

Brown was leaving the ice after he received a roughing minor and a 10-minute misconduct with 1:33 left in the third period that stemmed from an altercation with Nashville's Ryan Ellis.

Brown, 26, is in his fifth full season with the Lightning. He has 17 goals and 37 assists in 217 career games.
