Wally Buono can add Order of Canada to his already impressive list of achievements.
The BC Lions general manager and Canadian Football Hall of Famer was made a Member of the Order of Canada on Friday.
Buono was nominated and awarded the Order of Canada for representing the Order’s motto: They desire a better country.
Buono was born in Italy but moved to Montreal at a young age. He has spent most of his life in the CFL where he has won seven Grey Cups (two as a player, five as a coach).
