UTICA, N.Y. - Jacob Markstrom made 27 saves and Alexandre Grenier had a pair of goals as the Utica Comets blanked the visiting Toronto Marlies 4-0 on Saturday in American Hockey League play.

Cal O'Reilly scored once and set up two more for the Comets (5-1-1), who did all their scoring in the second period, while Dustin Jeffrey added the other.

Christopher Gibson stopped 32-of-36 shots for the Marlies (3-4-0).

Utica went 1 for 5 on the power play while Toronto failed to score on two chances with the man advantage.
