The St. Louis Blues remain the top team in the TSN.ca NHL Power Rankings, ahead of the Chicago Blackhawks and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Even in the face of some notable injuries, to defenceman Kevin Shattenkirk and centres Patrik Berglund and Jori Lehtera, the Blues are playing at such a high level that they hold their ground with the No. 1 ranking for the third consecutive week.
The big movers this week are the Calgary Flames, going from 21 to 15, holding opponents under 20 shots while winning three of the past four games. The Philadelphia Flyers, winners of four straight, jump from 27 to 22.
Going the other way, the Ottawa Senators slide, from 20 to 23, due to goaltender Craig Anderson's injury.
Among other Canadian teams, the Montreal Canadiens tie a season-best ranking of four, while the Winnipeg Jets and Vancouver Canucks are both down a spot, to 11 and 16, respectively.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are down to 24 and the Edmonton Oilers are up one to 28.
