As Jarvis Landry's days with the Miami Dolphins appear to be coming to a close with the team giving the 25-year-old wide receiver permission to seek a trade, he could find a new home in the NFC North.

The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reports the Chicago Bears have emerged as a potential suitor for the LSU product.

Landry was given the franchise tag by the Dolphins on February 20, but the club informed his agent, Damarius Bilbo, that they would not be offering him a multi-year contract offer. Jackson notes that the team is okay with Landry playing on the $16 million tag next season, but would prefer to trade him.

The team is reportedly seeking a player and a pick in any deal.

A three-time Pro Bowler, Landry appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins last season, his fourth in the NFL. He recorded 987 yards receiving on 112 catches with nine touchdowns and four fumbles.
