Nick Fairley will not have to explain his DUI to prospective teams this March as free agency opens.
According to a report from television station WKRG, the Detroit Lions defensive tackle was found not guilty of driving under the influence in 2012 by an Alabama jury.
The 27-year-old was found guilty of reckless driving but that charge only comes with a $500 fine.
Fairley is scheduled for free agency this off-season.
