The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed 2016 first overall pick, offensive lineman Josiah St. John to a three-year deal.
The Ajax, Ontario native played two seasons for the Oklahoma Sooners, starting four of 15 games he suited up for.
St. John had reportedly requested a trade earlier in June when contract talks hit a snag.
According to TSN’s Gary Lawless' sources, St. John signed a deal for less money than he was offered on draft night by the Roughriders.
