The Buffalo Sabres have suspended forward Evander Kane for breaking a team rule by missing practice, head coach Dan Bylsma announced on Monday.
Kane will not play in the Sabres next game, Tuesday night in Ottawa against the Senators.
WIVB-TV in Buffalo is reporting that Kane missed practice because he attended the NBA All-Star Game in Toronto.
The 24-year-old has 16 goals and eight assists in 47 games this season for the Sabres.
