Vladislav Namestnikov left the Ottawa Senators game against the Montreal Canadiens early Wednesday night with a lower-body injury and did not return to action.
Namestnikov left for the dressing room after a hit from Cale Fleury sent him flying into the boards in the first period. Prior to his departure, Namestnikov was pointless in 2:53 of ice time.
The 26-year-old has six goals and 12 points in 19 games this season.
Ottawa went on to win the game 2-1 in overtime on a game-winner from Brady Tkachuk.
Following their victory over the Habs, the Sens will be back in action Friday night at Canadian Tire Centre.
