Offset - “5 4 3 2 1”
Offset has delivered his first solo single of the year, “5 4 3 2 1.” The Atlanta rapper’s latest single features production work by Baby Keem, Jahaan Sweet, Mike Dean, and Ruchaun Maurice Akers Jr. and sees the third of the Migos trio (we’ll get to that) having a grand old time in a local amusement park in the accompanying music video.
The rumours continue to swirl around the Migos trio and a potential split. Offset has been busy the last little bit, releasing his latest as well as contributing to Trippie Redd’s latest track, “Big 14,” with Moneybagg Yo, whereas Quavo and Takeoff have released several tracks of their own under their latest Unc and Phew moniker. While the three artists have vaguely shot these rumours down, only time will tell if the trio decides to directly address it and/or come together again.
Fivio Foreign - “London Freestyle”
It’s only been a few months since Fivio Foreign dropped his debut album, B.I.B.L.E., but Brooklyn’s drill king has returned with new music.
While not out officially on major platforms, Fivi’ released his latest by way of an official video. “London Freestyle” hears the New York drill rapper reflect on his newfound success in the music industry while facing the pressure to keep moving upwards. It features a montage of clips of him on tour, performing in front of sold-out crowds and rapping in London, one of the most predominant locations on the drill scene.
Internet Money - We All We Got
Two years following the release of their debut album B4 The Storm, record label and producer collective Internet Money returns with their highly-anticipated EP, We All We Got.
The 6-track project features guest appearances by Lil Yachty, Lil Tecca, LUKCI and Destroy Lonely and production by Internet Money’s Taz Taylor, Nick Mira, Cxdy. Census, Rio Leyva, Hologram and more. The group has been busy this year, they released “No Handoutz” featuring Yeat back in the spring, and more recently “She Want Some More” alongside Tecca and Ken Carson.
Larry June - Spaceships on the Blade
In a project that sees the San Francisco rapper talk about his lavishing lifestyle reaching new heights in Spaceships on the Blade, Larry June returns with his first solo project since his joint album with Jay Worthy, 2 P’z in a Pod and the follow-up to his last solo offering, 2021’s Orange Print.
The hustler June – who chronicles his rise from the struggle of trying to support himself before selling out shows and signing partnerships – joins forces with a number of collaborators across the album, including 2 Chainz, Babyface Ray, Curren$y, Syd, Wallo267 and Duckworth. The project also features top-notch production from The Alchemist, Jake One, Turbo, Chuck Inglish of the Cool Kids and more.
