Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Drew Willy returned to practice Monday after taking a hit to the head Thursday against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Bombers listed him as day-to-day following the team's Week 2 match-up and he was believed to be questionable for Week 3's home tilt against the Montreal Alouettes.

However, Bombers head coach Mike O'Shea told reporters on Monday that he expects Willy to play on Friday.

Willy left the Bombers’ 52-26 loss to the Tiger-Cats after being hit in the head on a sack in the first quarter. Ticats linebacker Taylor Reed wrapped up Willy and spun him around, at which point defensive end Adrian Tracy tackled Willy with their helmets colliding.
