The 24th annual Major League Soccer All-Star Game is set for July 31 in Orlando when the best of MLS takes on La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
This marks the 15th season using the "MLS vs. Europe" format and the second visit from a Spanish side following Real Madrid in 2017.
MLS is 7-7 against European sides with three of those losses coming in shootouts. The victories came against Fulham (2005), Chelsea (2006 and 2012), Celtic (2007), West Ham (2008), Bayern Munich (2014) and Tottenham Hotspur (2015).
There is Canadian content at this year's game with Toronto-born LAFC midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye and Toronto FC midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo slated to participate.
