What has led to resurgence of dominant QBs in the CFL?

For the first time in over three decades, the CFL had four quarterbacks throw over 400 yards in a single week. TSN CFL Insider Dave Naylor explains the reason for the resurgence of dominant QBs in the Canadian Football League.

CFL: Lions 27, Roughriders 31

Samuel Emilus hauled in a go-ahead touchdown, his third of the game, with just 51 seconds remaining to help the Roughriders outlast the Lions in a rematch of the 2025 Western Final on Saturday night.

CFL: Argonauts 30, Alouettes 37

Davis Alexander threw for 441 yards and two touchdowns to Tyson Philpot, who had nine catches for 193 yards, Montreal blocked a punt and recovered the ball in the end zone for a key TD late, and the Alouettes held off the Argonauts to improve to 2-0. Chad Kelly finished with 445 passing yards, three TDs and one interception in his first game following a 580-day layoff.
