Winless Redblacks desperate to end home campaign on high note as Argos visit on TSN

It has been 406 days since Redblacks fans last saw a win at TD Place. And they may have to wait a lot longer if the 0-16 Redblacks can’t snap a 22-game losing streak tonight when they host the Argonauts in their last home game of the season. Ottawa hasn’t won a game since Sept. 5, 2025, which also marked the last time they won at home. The CFL on TSN panel sets up the action.

Trying to avoid CFL infamy, why would winless Redblacks start a rookie QB vs. Argos?

The Redblacks are staring down the embarrassment of having the worst season in league history, so why would they start a rookie quarterback with a grand total of 10 completions in his CFL career? TSN CFL Insider Dave Naylor joins SportsCentre to discuss Ottawa turning to Bryson Barnes as they try to avoid falling to 0-17 vs. the Argos.

Winless Redblacks turn to rookie QB Bryson Barnes against Argos on Friday

With two chances left to avoid a historic winless season, the 0-16 Redblacks are turning to rookie quarterback Bryson Barnes against the Argonauts on Friday. Barnes, 25, is 10/13 for 110 yards passing with no touchdowns and an interception in limited action, though he does have nine rushing scores on his resume.

CFL: Roughriders 24, Alouettes 44

Davis Alexander tossed for 403 yards and five touchdowns as the Alouettes celebrated Thanksgiving with a rout of the Riders. Montreal's win has them finishing a perfect 9-0 at home this regular season for just the second time in franchise history.

CFL: Stampeders 28, Blue Bombers 33

Sparked by the return of quarterback Zach Collaros, the Bombers narrowly defeated the Stampeders on Saturday night. Collaros returned after missing two games with a head injury and completed 19 of 27 passes for 349 yards and two touchdowns. The victory improved Winnipeg's record to 8-8, putting them right back in the mix for one of four playoff spots.
