Crum first quarterback up as Alouettes ease Alexander back into practice

After Davis Alexander was shaken up and briefly left Friday's game against the Blue Bombers, the Montreal Alouettes gave Dustin Crum the nod as first quarterback up Tuesday in practice. Alexander eventually got some reps with the first team and is expected to make his start Friday against the Lions. TSN's Farhan Lalji has more.

Alouettes quarterback Davis Alexander was limited at practice Tuesday, and was seen limping and wearing a compression sleeve on his right leg. Alexander suffered a lower-right leg injury in Montreal's loss to Winnipeg last Friday.

Zander Horvath scored four rushing majors to push the BC Lions over the Ottawa Redblacks and earn a 45-24 victory on Sunday night, extending their win streak to five games. The Lions running back paved the way with 164 yards on 24 carries extending his league lead to 15 total touchdowns.
