Milanovich on QB Mitchell's season being over: 'I believe it is'

Tiger-Cats head coach Scott Milanovich says he believes that quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell is realistically done for the rest of the season. He did reveal the QB is progressing well and is ahead of schedule but it's still a ninth month recovery window.


CFL: Alouettes 29, Lions 48

Zander Horvath drove in three touchdowns, Nathan Rourke completed 24 of his 33 pass attempts for 317 yards and a score, and the Lions took down the Alouettes on Saturday. Rourke added 77 rushing yards and drove in a major of his own, while defensive lineman Casey Sayles also notched a TD for BC.


CFL: Stampeders 16, Elks 53

Joe Robustelli caught a pair of touchdown passes as the Elks clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 2019 with a rout over the rival Stampeders in the Labour Day rematch on Saturday. Edmonton, which won its fourth game in a row to improve to 10-3, ended its longest postseason drought in club history,


CFL: Roughriders 6, Blue Bombers 19

In a defensive battle with only one major in the game -- a beautiful pass from Zach Collaros to Tommy Nield -- it was Winnipeg that came out on top of this edition of the Banjo Bowl, but Collaros did leave the game with an injury and didn't return.


CFL: Redblacks 23, Argonauts 26

Chad Kelly threw for 443 yards and two touchdowns, and Lirim Hajrullahu kicked a game-winning, 29-yard field goal as time expired as the Argonauts held off the still winless Redblacks, who fell to 0-12 on the season.
