CFL: Alouettes 29, Elks 32 (OT)

Justin Rankin ran for 178 yards and two touchdowns while Cody Fajardo had the game-winning score in overtime as the Elks defeated the Alouettes to hand Davis Alexander the first regular season loss of his career.


CFL: Argonauts 44, Redblacks 24

Chad Kelly threw four touchdowns, four interceptions and finished with 424 yards as the Argonauts won their first game of the season, and pushed the Redblacks to 0-2. Jake Maier tossed for one major and 281 yards in the loss.


CFL: Roughriders 40, Stampeders 37 (OT)

Tommy Stevens scored the winning touchdown in overtime for the Roughriders in a victory over the Stampeders on Saturday, sending Calgary to an 0-2 start for the first time since 2021. Kian Schaffer-Baker caught two touchdown passes for Saskatchewan and has amassed 295 receiving yards in his first two games of the season.
