Michael Brennan and Tom Kim both had fantastic days in the third round at the Wyndham Championship, with both shooting seven-under to give Brennan a share of the lead, and Kim a spot in third heading into the final round.

Mackenzie Hughes was the low-scoring Canadian in the second round of the Wyndham Championship finishing the day 3-under to sit seven shots back of the leader Beau Hossler. Hughes would need to to earn his best finish of the year, a solo second, for a FedEx Cup playoff berth.

The final push began to make the FedEx Cup Playoffs but it was Beau Hossler who stood out from the pack, firing a 61 in the opening round of the Wyndham Championship to sit atop the leaderboard at 9-under. Taylor Pendrith is the low Canadian at 4-under, while rising star Jackson Koivun is 3-under heading into Friday.

Jackson Koivun, who won his first PGA Tour event at the 3M Open in just his third start last weekend, hopes to keep the momentum going at the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club.
