WHC: Norway 4, Czechia 1

Michael Brandsegg-Nygård found the back of the net twice to help Norway secure a historic victory over Czechia and earn a spot in the quarter-finals at the World Hockey Championship.


WHC: Canada 5, Slovakia 1

Gabriel Vilardi broke the deadlock with a power play goal early in the third period, and Canada would add three more goals in the frame in a victory over Slovakia at the World Hockey Championship on Sunday. Jet Greaves stopped 31 of 32 shots as Canada improved to 6-0 at the tournament.


WHC: Austria 2, Finland 5

Jesse Puljujärvi had a goal and an assist as part of a three-goal second period for Finland, who defeated Austria at the World Hockey Championship on Sunday.


WHC: Latvia 6, Great Britain 0

Eduards Tralmaks made an instant impact with a goal and two assists to lead Latvia to victory and ensure Great Britain gets sent back down to Division IA. Latvia has nine points through six games at the men's World Hockey Championship, level with Austria and pushing Germany down to fifth in Group A.


WHC: Italy 2, Denmark 3 (SO)

Patrick Russell scored the lone goal in the shootout as Denmark outlasted Italy to get a much-needed point that secures their spot in the top division at the men's World Hockey Championship in 2027.


WHC: Sweden 2, Norway 3

Norway took a step closer to making the playoff stage by beating Sweden 3–2. Eirik Salsten scored the game-winner while Norway was shorthanded in the third period.


WHC: Germany 6, Austria 2

Germany celebrated two straight wins with a hat-trick in both of them. Lukas Reichel’s top line was the catalyst for a vital 6-2 victory over Austria.
