Lenni Hameenaho sparked the attack with two goals and an assist in a thumping of the defending champion United States as Finland improved to 3-0 in Group A. Joseph Woll was chased after allowing five goals on 10 shots.


WHC: Denmark 1, Canada 5

Canada got goals in the third period from Porter Martone, Gabriel Vilardi, Denton Mateychuk, Ryan O'Reilly and Parker Wotherspoon while Sidney Crosby contributed four assists in the victory over Denmark.

Through two periods, Denmark kept Canada off the scoreboard but it didn't take long in the third period for the top line to break out, led by Sidney Crosby who once again led the way with an inspiring performance. WHC: Hungary 2, Austria 4

Dominik Zwerger and Thimo Nickl scored 44 seconds apart for Austria to pull away from Hungary to move to 2-0 in the tournament.


WHC: Sweden 6, Denmark 2

Lucas Raymond, Viggo Bjorck, and Ivar Stenberg combined for seven points as Sweden rolled past Denmark. Arvid Soderblom made 14 saves in the win.
