Thon Maker headlines Canada’s brightest emerging basketball stars in the 2016 BIOSTEEL ALL-CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME, as BioSteel, Pretty River Sports + Entertainment, and TSN today announced the final roster of players competing in the second annual edition of the nation’s high school all-star showcase event. Live coverage of the 2016 BIOSTEEL ALL-CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME airs Monday, April 11 at 7:30 p.m. ET exclusively on TSN, live from the University of Toronto’s Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

TSN’s broadcast team for the 2016 BIOSTEEL ALL-CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME features award-winning play-by-play commentator Rod Black alongside NBA ON TSN analyst Leo Rautins, a member of the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame. TSN’s Kate Beirness hosts the network’s live coverage of the game, and contributes interviews from courtside at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

Featuring two teams coached by Dave DeAveiro (McGill University) and James Derouin (University of Ottawa), the 2016 BIOSTEEL ALL-CANADIAN BASKETBALL GAME showcases 24 of the top high school basketball players from across the country. The players on the game’s final roster are as follows:

A selection of players on the final roster will compete in the 2016 BioSteel All-Canadian Skills Competition, featuring the BMO Slam Dunk Contest and Sport Chek 3 Point Shoot-out on Sunday, April 10 at the Athlete Institute in Orangeville, Ont.

TSN platforms deliver highlights, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content from the 2016 BioSteel All-Canadian Skills Competition. Participants for the skills events will be announced on Sunday, April 10.
