MLB: Orioles 4, Yankees 9

Cody Bellinger went 4 for 4 with two homers and four RBI, leading the Yankees over the Orioles for their 12th win in 14 games. Bellinger hit a pair of solo homers on sliders, putting New York ahead in the second off Kyle Bradish and boosting the lead to 6-1 in the fifth against Keegan Akin for his 21st multi-homer game.


MLB: Dodgers 2, Cardinals 3

Jordan Walker homered and Michael McGreevy shut out the punchless Dodgers for six innings as the Cardinals beat Los Angeles Saturday night for their sixth straight win. The Dodgers have lost a season-high four in a row and have gone five straight games without a home run for the first time since May 2015.


MLB: Blue Jays 11, Twins 4

Kazuma Okamoto hit his third home run in two days, Brandon Valenzuela homered in an eight-run eighth inning and the Blue Jays battered the Twins. Lenyn Sosa and Myles Straw also went deep for Toronto, which scored a season high in runs while winning for the sixth time in eight games, but saw George Springer leave with an injury.


MLB: Blue Jays 7, Twins 3

Kazuma Okamoto homered twice, Yohendrick Pinango had three hits in just his fifth career game, and the Blue Jays battered the Twins. Lenyn Sosa also had three hits to tie a career high, and Patrick Corbin allowed two earned runs in 5 1/3 innings to get his first win with Toronto.


MLB: Blue Jays 1, Twins 7

Byron Buxton homered for the third time in four games and Ryan Jeffers hit a go-ahead, two-run drive that led the Twins over the Blue Jays in the opener of a four-game series.


MLB: Tigers 5, Braves 2

Gleyber Torres had three hits and drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning as the Tigers rallied to beat the Braves on Thursday to avoid a three-game sweep.


MLB: Nationals 5, Mets 4

CJ Abrams went 2-for-3, including a two-run go ahead home run in the eighth inning as the Mets lost for the fifth time in the last six games. Bo Bichette went 0-for-3 in the loss.


MLB: Cardinals 10, Pirates 5

JJ Wetherholt led off with a home run against Pirates ace Paul Skenes, and the Cardinals finished off a four-game sweep of Pittsburgh with a win on Thursday. Skenes fell to 0-5 against St. Louis after allowing five runs, four earned, in five innings.


MLB: Red Sox 1, Blue Jays 8

Ernie Clement hit his first home run of the season, George Springer returned after missing 15 games as a pinch-hitter and delivered an RBI single, and the Blue Jays thumped the Red Sox. Brandon Valenzuela also homered as Toronto secured its third straight series win.


MLB: Yankees 0, Rangers 3

Nathan Eovaldi allowed four hits over seven scoreless innings, hot-hitting Josh Jung had a two-run single and the Rangers beat the AL-best Yankees to avoid a three-game sweep.
