MLB: Blue Jays 3, Nationals 2

Luis Urías homered, Myles Straw had a double and a run-scoring single, and the Toronto Blue Jays celebrated Max Scherzer's return to Washington with a 3-2 win over the Nationals on Monday night. After Scherzer was pulled in the third inning, six relievers hit the bump for the Jays to hold the Nationals to a single run.


MLB: Yankees 9, White Sox 5

Ali Sanchez capped off a four run eighth inning with his first career home run to help lift the Yankees over the White Sox on Monday night. Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a pair of stolen bags and Ben Rice notched his 73rd RBI of the year with a single in the seventh.


MLB: Mariners 3, Rangers 7

Joc Pederson homered twice to drive in four runs and Ezequiel Duran and Jake Burger also went deep for the Texas Rangers in a 7-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Monday.


MLB: Yankees 4, Phillies 11

Bryson Stott homered, doubled and drove in five runs, NL All-Star starter Cristopher Sánchez pitched six solid innings and the Phillies avoided a three-game sweep with an 11-4 victory over the Yankees on Sunday night.

Michael Massey hit a go-ahead, two-run homer with two outs in the eighth inning and the Kansas City Royals held on to beat the Detroit Tigers 5-4 on Sunday.

Munetaka Murakami homered twice and drove in a season-high six runs; Miguel Vargas, Chase Meidroth and Junior Perez also went deep as the Chicago White Sox beat the Houston Astros 12-3 on Sunday to avoid a series sweep.

Drew Rasmussen allowed one hit through seven innings, Cedric Mullins drove in the only run of the game on a bunt single and the Tampa Bay Rays finished off a three-game sweep of the Cleveland Guardians with a 1-0 victory on Sunday.

Jarren Duran drove in two runs with one of his three singles, Jahmai Jones had a pinch-hit two-run double and the Boston Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-1 Sunday.

Kyle Tucker homered for the second consecutive game, Yoshinobu Yamamoto allowed one run in six gritty innings and the Los Angeles Dodgers capitalized on two defensive mistakes by the New York Mets in a 4-3 victory Saturday night.

Pete Crow-Armstrong was 4 for 5 with a home run and three RBI to lead the Chicago Cubs to an 11-0 rout of the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night.
