MLB: Braves 3, Mets 14

Francisco Lindor homered twice and tripled off the top of the fence, driving in six runs as the New York Mets pulled away for a 14-3 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Monday night. Marcus Semien hit a two-run homer that snapped a 3-all tie in the sixth inning and Tyrone Taylor extended his tear at the plate with a three-run drive in the seventh.


MLB: Phillies 7, Marlins 8

Griffin Conine hit a walkoff run-scoring single to lift the Marlins past the Philadelphia Phillies 8-7 on Monday and end Miami's franchise record 12-game losing streak. Phillies closer Jhoan Duran loaded the bases with no outs and allowed a tying two-run single by Heriberto Hernandez, who also scored the winning run.


MLB: Cubs 7, Cardinals 3

Nico Hoerner's four hit, four RBI night helped lift the Cubs past the Cardinals on Monday night. Hoerner scored a pair in the fifth with a single to center and added two more with his fifth longball of the season in the ninth. Alex Bregman hit his 11th home run of the season and David Peterson notched his sixth win.


MLB: Red Sox 4, Athletics 2

Ceddanne Rafaela hit a grand slam to left in the sixth inning to propel the Red Sox past the Athletics on Monday night. That was all the offence Boston would need as solo homeruns by Tyler Soderstrom and Jonah Heim would not be enough for the A's to complete the comeback.


MLB: Orioles 8, Tigers 5

The Orioles took the lead in the fifth with a pair of home runs by Leody Taveras and Coby Mayo and Tyler O'Neill's added the insurance run in the sixth with a pinch-hit blast to left-center. Kyle Bradish got away with a no-decision after a rough outing, allowing five earned runs on ten hits.


MLB: Blue Jays 3, Nationals 2

Luis Urías homered, Myles Straw had a double and a run-scoring single, and the Toronto Blue Jays celebrated Max Scherzer's return to Washington with a 3-2 win over the Nationals on Monday night. After Scherzer was pulled in the third inning, six relievers hit the bump for the Jays to hold the Nationals to a single run.


MLB: Yankees 9, White Sox 5

Ali Sánchez hit a three-run shot for his first career homer and the New York Yankees beat the Chicago White Sox 9-5 on Monday night in the opener of a four-game series between playoff contenders. Ben Rice hit a tiebreaking single in the seventh inning, and New York put away the game with four more runs in the eighth.


MLB: Mariners 3, Rangers 7

Joc Pederson homered twice to drive in four runs and Ezequiel Duran and Jake Burger also went deep for the Texas Rangers in a 7-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Monday.


MLB: Yankees 4, Phillies 11

Bryson Stott homered, doubled and drove in five runs, NL All-Star starter Cristopher Sánchez pitched six solid innings and the Phillies avoided a three-game sweep with an 11-4 victory over the Yankees on Sunday night.


MLB: Royals 5, Tigers 4

Michael Massey hit a go-ahead, two-run homer with two outs in the eighth inning and the Kansas City Royals held on to beat the Detroit Tigers 5-4 on Sunday.


MLB: Astros 3, White Sox 12

Munetaka Murakami homered twice and drove in a season-high six runs; Miguel Vargas, Chase Meidroth and Junior Perez also went deep as the Chicago White Sox beat the Houston Astros 12-3 on Sunday to avoid a series sweep.


MLB: Padres 5, Marlins 3

Manny Machado and Jackson Merrill homered in the eighth inning and the San Diego Padres overcame an early three-run deficit to beat Miami 5-3 on Sunday, extending the Marlins’ losing streak to a franchise-record 12.


MLB: Dodgers 3, Mets 8

Tyrone Taylor put the Mets ahead with a three-run homer in the sixth inning, Marcus Semien added a three-run drive in the seventh and New York beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-3 on Sunday to prevent a season sweep.


MLB: Rockies 2, Brewers 11

Jacob Misiorowski struck out 12 of the first 13 batters he faced, including each of the first seven, and allowed only one hit over five innings and the Milwaukee Brewers trounced the Colorado Rockies 11-2 on Sunday.


MLB: Guardians 0, Rays 1

Drew Rasmussen allowed one hit through seven innings, Cedric Mullins drove in the only run of the game on a bunt single and the Tampa Bay Rays finished off a three-game sweep of the Cleveland Guardians with a 1-0 victory on Sunday.


MLB: Blue Jays 1, Red Sox 6

Jarren Duran drove in two runs with one of his three singles, Jahmai Jones had a pinch-hit two-run double and the Boston Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-1 Sunday.
