MLB: White Sox 11, Red Sox 12 (13)

Caleb Durbin lined a single to center field off Chicago’s Erick Fedde in the 13th inning to score NIck Sogard and the Red Sox rallied to beat the White Sox on Thursday night in a game that lasted more than four hours. Connor Wong had a two-run home run, and Anthony Siegler added three RBI for Boston, which won its eighth straight and 10th in 11 games.


MLB: Tigers 11, Mariners 0

Dillon Dingler had three hits and drove in three runs, Colt Keith had three hits of his own and batted in a pair of runs, and Framber Valdez threw seven scoreless innings as the Tigers crushed the Mariners on Thursday.


MLB: Blue Jays 2, Cubs 3 (11)

The Blue Jays took a two-run lead into the bottom of the ninth, and with two outs and two strikes, Alex Bregman hit a two-run shot to send it to extras, where an errant throw from Brandan Valenzuela in the 11th scored the winning run for the Cubs. It was the 11th walk-off win this season for Chicago, and the first blown save of the year for Louis Varland.


MLB: Pirates 2, Brewers 5

Dustin May won his Milwaukee debut and Jackson Chourio and Gary Sánchez hit home runs as the Brewers defeated the Pirates on Thursday afternoon. May, acquired from the Cardinals in a trade deadline deal on Monday, turned in a quality start, giving up two runs and three hits in six innings.


MLB: Nationals 3, Phillies 7

Cristopher Sanchez became the first 15-game winner in the majors this season, Bryson Stott had two of Philadelphia's eight doubles and the Phillies beat the Nationals on Thursday night for their fifth victory in six games.


MLB: Mets 13, Guardians 6

The Mets racked up 18 hits on their way to their third win and series sweep against the Guardians. Nolan McLean was good for most of his outing, and when he needed to come out after the fifth inning, the bullpen smothered the Guardians’ hitters, allowing two hits and one run.


MLB: Angels 4, Orioles 1

Zach Neto hit a three-run home run to lift the Angels over the Orioles in the final game of the series on Thursday afternoon. Nolan Schanuel hit a sacrifice fly in the seventh for Meckler to score the fourth run of the game for Los Angeles.


MLB: Nationals 10, Phillies 4 (11)

CJ Abrams hit a tiebreaking, two-run triple in Washington's six-run 11th inning, pitcher Miles Mikolas drove in a run in his first at-bat since 2021, and the Nationals snapped their seven-game skid with a 10-4 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday night.


MLB: Blue Jays 5, Astros 4 (10)

Ernie Clement crushed the first pitch in extra innings for a two-run homer that lifted the Blue Jays to a win over the Astros on Wednesday. Jesús Sánchez hit a two-run home run to tie it in the sixth and help Toronto take two of three games in the series. Jameson Taillon allowed six hits and three runs in four innings in his Jays debut.


MLB: White Sox 0, Red Sox 4

Sonny Gray pitched six strong innings, allowing only three hits while fanning eight batters, Wilyer Abreu had a solo home run in the third, and the Red Sox blanked the White Sox to secure their seventh-straight win.


MLB: Cardinals 3, Yankees 1

Back-to-back doubles from JJ Wetherholt and Ivan Herrera in the fifth inning scored all three Cardinals runs in this game, as they bounce back to best the Yankees, and seal the three-game series.


MLB: Pirates 2, Brewers 4

Kyle Harrison struck out the final eight batters he faced, William Contreras homered and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-2 on Wednesday night.


MLB: Dodgers 6, Cubs 7

Pete Crow-Armstrong homered twice and drove in four runs to help the Cubs sweep Shohei Ohtani and the struggling Dodgers with a wild victory on Wednesday. Ohtani went deep twice for NL West-leading Los Angeles, which have dropped six in a row for the first time since a seven-game skid in July 2025.


MLB: Rays 4, Rockies 0

Junior Caminero homered for the third time in the series, Victor Mesa Jr. tripled twice and the AL-best Rays beat the Rockies on Wednesday for a three-game sweep. Nick Martinez pitched into the sixth inning to help Tampa Bay to its 11th sweep of the season.


Blue Jays place Yesavage on 15-day injured list due to knee inflammation

Trey Yesavage has landed on the injured list. The 23-year-old right-hander was placed on the 15-day IL with knee inflammation, the Blue Jays announced on Wednesday. Right-handed pitchers Lazaro Estrada and Chase Lee have been recalled from Triple-A Buffalo, while Chad Dallas heading down to the minors in a corresponding move.
