NASCAR Cup Series: Iowa Corn 350

Ty Gibbs used late pit strategy and held off Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Christopher Bell over the final 20 laps to win the NASCAR Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway. Gibbs -- the 23-year-old grandson of former NFL coaching great and NASCAR team owner Joe Gibbs -- won by 0.253 seconds over Bell for his second victory of the season and his career.


NASCAR Cup Series: Brickyard 400

In Sunday’s Brickyard 400, Corey Heim worked his way past car-owner Denny Hamlin on the final restart of the race and fended off a hard-charging Christopher Bell to capture his second career victory in his 14th start.

F1: Hungarian Grand Prix

Lando Norris ended an eight-month wait for a Formula 1 victory with strong pace and a dose of good fortune to win the Hungarian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen finished second, with Kimi Antonelli third. Antonelli increased his standings lead with title rivals Lewis Hamilton fifth after a penalty for speeding in the pits and George Russell seventh after a near-stall at the start.


F1: Hungarian Grand Prix - Qualifying

Defending Formula 1 champion Lando Norris took his first pole position of 2026 when he snatched it from Lewis Hamilton by just 0.012 of a second. Charles Leclerc took third for Ferrari, 0.238 off the pace. However, Hamilton will start the Hungarian Grand Prix from fifth on the grid after he was given a three-place penalty for impeding Oscar Piastri's McLaren in qualifying.

Lewis Hamilton led Charles Leclerc to a Ferrari one-two in the second practice session at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The seven-time champion crossed the line 0.148 seconds faster than his teammate, setting an overall time of 1:18.729.
