Dwight Phillips Jr. ran for 120 yards, Bo Walker added 69 more, and Georgia staked its claim to a No. 1 ranking with a victory at No. 6 Alabama on Saturday night. Gunnar Stockton accounted for both of Georgia's touchdowns, one passing and another rushing.


NCAA: (1) Texas 24, Oklahoma 27

Tate Sandell kicked a 47-yard field goal on the final play and Oklahoma overcame its continued offensive ineptness with touchdowns on special teams and defence in a win over No. 1 Texas in the Red River rivalry game on Saturday.


NCAA: (2) Ohio State 31, (14) Iowa 14

Julian Sayin threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns, two to Jeremiah Smith, and No. 5 Ohio State beat No. 14 Iowa on Saturday. Smith had 11 catches for 206 yards, becoming Ohio State’s leader in receptions (207), receiving yards (3,381) and receiving touchdowns (36).


NCAA: Michigan 14, Minnesota 20

Michigan fell on the road to Minnesota in a 20-14 upset, and officially dropped to 0-2 in conference play. The Gophers' victory marked the first career win over Michigan for coach P.J. Fleck and the first win on home turf since 1977.
