NFL: Rams 26, Broncos 30

Bo Nix's keeper from inches outside the goal line with 47 seconds left powered the Broncos past the Rams, capping a wild final five minutes that included a 66-yard pick-6 by Denver and a quick touchdown response by Los Angeles.

NFL: Jets 24, Lions 31

Jahmyr Gibbs took a toss sweep to the right, reversed field and raced to the left side of the end zone for a 17-yard touchdown. He was just getting warmed up. Gibbs ran for another touchdown in the second half and had a go-ahead 11-yard reception with 2:25 left for his third score of the game and the Detroit Lions held on to beat the New York Jets 31-24 on Sunday.

NFL: Cardinals 30, 49ers 36

Brock Purdy threw four touchdown passes, with the first coming on a trick play, and the injury-depleted 49ers held on for a victory over the Cardinals. San Francisco lost wide receiver Mike Evans to a rib injury in the first half, but still managed to hold on to start 3-0 for the third time in the last four seasons.

Mayfield, Jefferson and Evans headline key injuries in Week 3

There were a lot of injuries around the NFL in Week 3, headlined by Baker Mayfield suffering a dislocated right thumb against the Vikings, Justin Jefferson leaving Sunday's game against the Buccaneers with an ankle injury, and Mike Evans leaving Sunday's game against the Cardinals with a rib and oblique injury.

NFL: Bengals 27, Steelers 30

Aaron Rodgers passed for 292 yards and three touchdowns to outduel Joe Burrow as the Steelers beat the Bengals. Pittsburgh bounced back from a miserable performance last week at New England to blunt some of Cincinnati's early momentum.

NFL: Texans 17, Colts 19

Spencer Shrader fought through a groin injury to make four field goals, including a 43-yarder with 16 seconds to go, and the Indianapolis Colts' beleaguered defense barely held up long enough to close out a 19-17 victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday.

NFL: Vikings 23, Buccaneers 16

Myles Price returned a punt 86 yards for a score, Kyler Murray threw a 41-yard TD pass to Jordan Addison and the Vikings beat the Buccaneers. Baker Mayfield hurt his thumb on a desperation pass late in the fourth quarter. He was screaming in pain on the ground before walking off and was replaced by rookie Jalon Daniels in the final minute.

NFL: Chiefs 24, Dolphins 10

Kenneth Walker III had a touchdown catch and rushed for a score, Patrick Mahomes threw for 246 yards and two TDs, and the Chiefs beat the Dolphins. Pro Bowler De'Von Achane left with a knee injury on the opening drive.

NFL: Raiders 35, Saints 27

Kirk Cousins had three passing touchdowns, one of which was to Brock Bowers, who made his season debut after missing the first two games with a knee injury, as the Raiders won a wild game against the Saints in Week 3.

NFL: Patriots 6, Jaguars 35

Trevor Lawrence threw three touchdown passes, including one on which Parker Washington made a fingertip catch in the end zone, and the Jaguars bounced back from their worst offensive performance in nearly a year to dominate the Patriots. Drake Maye fumbled twice, losing one, and threw two more interceptions before getting pulled in the fourth quarter with the game out of reach.

NFL: Chargers 16, Bills 24

Josh Allen scored two touchdowns rushing and the Bills overcame a five-turnover outing to pull out a victory over the winless Chargers. Buffalo improved to 3-0 despite Allen's two interceptions and lost fumble.

NFL: Seahawks 31, Commanders 33

Marcus Mariota threw three touchdown passes, and Kain Medrano returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown to help the Commanders hand the Seahawks their first loss since November.

NFL: Ravens 34, Cowboys 31

Lamar Jackson completed a 27-yard pass to Zay Flowers and alertly called a timeout with 1 second left, setting up Tyler Loop’s 56-yard field goal to cap a stunning 7-second drive that gave the Ravens a victory over the Cowboys in Brazil.
