Brock Purdy threw two touchdown passes and Christian McCaffrey ran for a score to lead the undefeated 49ers to a 24-14 victory over the Broncos on Sunday.

Jameis Winston threw three touchdown passes to offset a pair of interceptions, Deonte Banks had a 98-yard pick-6 in the final seconds and the New York Giants won another not-so-pretty game, defeating the Arizona Cardinals 36-24 on Sunday.

Lamar Jackson threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns before leaving the game with an ankle injury, Derrick Henry scored against his former team, and the Baltimore Ravens handled the Tennessee Titans 24-18 on Sunday.


NFL: Rams 24, Eagles 20

Kyren Williams ran for two touchdowns in the final four minutes as Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams rallied from a 10-point deficit to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-20 on Sunday.


NFL: Chargers 23, Seahawks 30

Emanuel Wilson caught a touchdown pass and ran for another score and the Seahawks handed the Chargers a fourth straight loss to start the season with a 30-23 victory on Sunday. Sam Darnold threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns for the defending Super Bowl champions.


NFL: Lions 26, Panthers 32

Chuba Hubbard ran 20 times for a season-high 122 yards and two touchdowns, Bryce Young completed 29 of 41 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns to Tetairoa McMillan and the Panthers overcame an injury-filled week to beat the Lions 32-26 on Sunday night.


NFL: Chiefs 30, Raiders 27

Patrick Mahomes remained undefeated at Allegiant Stadium, passing for 225 yards and two touchdowns, and Kenneth Walker III rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Chiefs to a 30-27 victory over the Raiders on Sunday.


NFL: Cowboys 34, Texans 30

CeeDee Lamb had a career-high 17 catches for 189 yards and his 12-yard TD reception with 40 seconds left lifted the Dallas Cowboys to a 34-30 win over Houston on Sunday to keep the Texans winless.


NFL: Patriots 29, Bills 26

Drake Maye threw three touchdown passes, including Efton Chism’s one-handed catch with 1:50 remaining, and the New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills 29-26 on Sunday.

Joe Burrow passed for 428 yards for the Bengals, who lost All-Pro wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase to a concussion in the second quarter.
