Christian McCaffrey became the fourth-fastest player in the Super Bowl era with 100 career touchdowns, Brock Purdy played a near-perfect game and the 49ers overwhelmed the Dolphins on Sunday. Purdy went 20 for 22 for 287 yards, two touchdown passes and one TD run, completing 18 straight passes at one point.

Trey Smack kicked a 26-yard field goal in overtime and the Packers overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit and a sloppy, penalty-filled performance to snap a six-game skid with a victory over the Jets on Sunday. Love finished 16 of 29 for 145 yards with TD tosses to Christian Watson and MarShawn Lloyd.

Drew Lock threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns to Jaxon Smith-Njigba in a stellar first start subbing for the injured Sam Darnold, and the Seahawks continued their dominance over the Cardinals with a blowout win on Sunday. The defending Super Bowl champions have now won 10 straight over Arizona dating back to 2022.

Jalen Hurts threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Darius Cooper with nine seconds left to power the Eagles past the Titans on a hot and steamy Sunday. Philadelphia improved to 15-4 in September since 2021 and remained tied with Buffalo for the most wins in the NFL's opening month in that span.

TreVeyon Henderson ran for a 39-yard touchdown in his season debut, Eli Ponder added a 19-yard fumble recovery for a score and the Patriots’ defence smothered Aaron Rodgers on the way to a victory over the Steelers on Sunday. Drake Maye finished 14 of 22 for 208 yards and an interception.
NFL: Colts 30, Chiefs 33 (OT)
Patrick Mahomes passed for 382 yards and three touchdowns, Travis Kelce was in vintage form with 101 yards and a score, and the Chiefs outlasted the Colts in overtime on Sunday. Harrison Butker hit from 40 yards out as time expired in OT to help Kansas City move to 2-0 and hand Indianapolis its second loss.
