Report: Wife of Chiefs' OC Eric Bieniemy allegedly shot by couple's son at home

The wife of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy was allegedly shot by the couple's son Sunday night at the family's home in Virginia. Mia Bieniemy, 57, was hospitalized in stable condition Monday. Police in Loudoun County, Virginia, confirmed that a woman was being treated for "serious injuries" from multiple gunshot wounds but did not disclose her identity.


Shanahan spotted at 49ers camp; Cardinals' Brissett agrees to reworked contract terms

A day after it was revealed Kyle Shanahan was involved in a serious car crash that will see him limited, he was spotted on the field for a little more than half an hour at 49ers camp on Sunday. Elsewhere in the NFL, Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett has agreed to reworked terms of his contract. He will now receive $15.5 million guaranteed, but could reach $21 million with incentives.


49ers' head coach Shanahan to be limited in camp after car accident

San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan suffered significant injuries in a car crash during his summer break in mid-July that leave him limited as the team opens training camp. Shanahan has been recovering at home and is believed to be healing well, but with training camp starting Sunday, doctors will not clear him for all activities until concussion symptoms clear.


Mahomes fully cleared for Chiefs' training camp

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has been fully cleared to participate in all practice periods as he returns from his torn ACL with the team evaluating his workload on a day-to-day basis. Mahomes spoke about his recovery, including reaching out to those who have had similar injuries.
