Larkin to miss start of Red Wings camp

Dylan Larkin won’t be on the ice when the Detroit Red Wings take to it for the first time on Thursday. Interim general manager Shawn Horcoff announced Wednesday that the forward picked up an upper-body injury in training and won’t be skating when camp officially opens.

Canucks' Demko won't be full participant in training camp

Ahead of training camp, Canucks GM Ryan Johnson revealed that Thatcher Demko won't be a full participant in training camp with one of the main groups, but will be on the ice in Penticton as he continues his recovery process. Johnson says that while this isn't a setback for the goaltender, there is no set time table for a return.
