St. Louis on Gallagher: 'If he plays he's going to give you everything he has'

Veteran forward Brendan Gallagher has been a healthy scratch for the first four games of the series for the Canadiens and head coach Martin St. Louis did not confirm whether or not the 33-year old winger would enter the line up for Game 5 but says if he does he will give you everything he has. Zack Bolduc explains the importance of Gallagher on and off the ice to help give his team that extra bit of motivation and guidance.


NHL: Ducks 1, Oilers 4

Leon Draisaitl scored twice, Connor McDavid assisted on both goals, and Connor Ingram made 29 saves as the Oilers staved off elimination, using an early onslaught to beat the Ducks in Game 5. ANA leads series 3-2.

Matt Boldy scored the tiebreaking power-play goal in the final minute of the second period, after having one taken away late in the first, and the Wild beat the Stars for a crucial Game 5 win in their first-round series. MIN leads series 3-2.


Celebrini, Kucherov, McDavid named three finalists for Ted Lindsay Award

The three finalists for the National Hockey League’s Ted Lindsay Award for the 2025-26 season are Macklin Celebrini, Nikita Kucherov and Connor McDavid, the league announced on Tuesday. The award is presented annually to “The Most Outstanding Player in the NHL,” as voted by fellow members of the NHLPA.
