NHL: Jets 3, Penguins 2

Cole Perfetti scored the game-winning goal just nine seconds after the Penguins tied it as the Jets used a third period surge to steal a victory in Pittsburgh on Monday. Alex Iafallo and Adam Lowry also scored in the final frame and Clay Stevenson made 29 saves for his first win since Winnipeg claimed the netminder off waivers.


NHL: Senators 4, Bruins 1

Tim Stützle scored two goals in under two minutes early in the first period, with his first goal coming shorthanded and the second just after the power play expired, as the Senators beat the Bruins on Monday to move to 2-0 on the season. Drake Batherson and Michael Amadio also scored for Ottawa, which lost Linus Ullmark due to injury.


NHL: Sharks 0, Stars 5

Jason Robertson had a goal and an assist, and Jake Oettinger had to make just 13 saves for his first shutout, as the Stars surged past the Sharks on Monday for their first win of the season. Mikko Rantanen, Miro Heiskanen, Joel Kiviranta and Jamie Benn also scored for Dallas, which handed San Jose its first loss of the year.


NHL: Flyers 1, Lightning 4

Brayden Point opened the scoring with his first goal of the season, Pontus Holmberg and Ilya Mikheyev had a goal and an assist apiece, and the Lightning shut down the Flyers on Monday for their second consecutive win. Philadelphia opens the season with four straight losses for the first time since 2014.
