NHL: Canadiens 2, Flyers 4

Matvei Michkov had a goal and two assists and Porter Martone had one goal to lead the playoff-bound Flyers to a win over the Canadiens. With the loss, Montreal will start the post-season on the road against the Lightning, while Philly is set to travel to Pittsburgh.


NHL: Devils 0, Bruins 4

Mark Kasetlic scored twice in the first period and Jeremy Swayman earned his second shutout of the season as the Bruins clinched the top wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference. Boston will travel to Buffalo for their first round series.


NHL: Ducks 2, Wild 3

Hunter Haight got his first career goal and rookie Jesper Wallstedt auditioned for action in the playoffs with 35 saves, as the Wild finished their regular season by beating the Ducks. Anaheim sits a point behind the Oilers for second in the Pacific Division, and one point ahead of the Kings for the wild card.

NHL: Capitals 2, Blue Jackets 1

Alex Ovechkin had an assist on the go-ahead goal in what perhaps will be the final game of his record-breaking career as the Capitals defeated the Blue Jackets in the season finale for both teams. Ovechkin is in the final season of his contract and said he is waiting until after the season before deciding on his future.


NHL: Hurricanes 2, Islanders 1

Mark Jankowski scored the go-ahead goal in the third period as the Hurricanes defeated the Islanders. Nikolaj Ehlers also scored for Carolina, and Brandon Bussi made 28 saves to help Carolina finish atop the Eastern Conference. The Canes will face Ottawa in the first round of the playoffs.
