'He's in a safe place here' Canucks hoping Pettersson can bounce back this season

After a couple tough seasons, Elias Pettersson is looking to bounce back for the Canucks. General manager Ryan Johnson says that they have built a safe place for the forward to play, and expect him to come to work happy.. Johnson also says he isn't expecting Pettersson to suddenly change his character, but hopes he can just be himself.


Canucks' Demko won't be full participant in training camp

Ahead of training camp, Canucks GM Ryan Johnson revealed that Thatcher Demko won't be a full participant in training camp with one of the main groups, but will be on the ice in Penticton as he continues his recovery process. Johnson says that while this isn't a setback for the goaltender, there is no set time table for a return.
