Tim Stützle scored two goals in under two minutes early in the first period, with his first goal coming shorthanded and the second just after the power play expired, as the Senators beat the Bruins on Monday to move to 2-0 on the season. Drake Batherson and Michael Amadio also scored for Ottawa, which lost Linus Ullmark due to injury.


NHL: Sharks 0, Stars 5

Jason Robertson had a goal and an assist, and Jake Oettinger had to make just 13 saves for his first shutout, as the Stars surged past the Sharks on Monday for their first win of the season. Mikko Rantanen, Miro Heiskanen, Joel Kiviranta and Jamie Benn also scored for Dallas, which handed San Jose its first loss of the year.
