NHL: Kings 1, Flames 3

Zayne Parekh's goal in the second period ended up being the difference as the Flames beat the Kings in their regular season finale. Arsenii Sergeev made 27 saves in his first NHL start. Los Angeles will travel to Colorado to start the playoffs.


NHL: Ducks 5, Predators 4

Mikael Granlund had three assists, including on Troy Terry's go ahead goal late in the third period to give the Ducks the win. Anaheim finished third in the Pacific Division, and will travel to Edmonton to start the playoffs.


NHL: Canucks 1, Oilers 6

Matt Savoie scored three goals in the first period for the first hat trick of his career, while Connor McDavid picked up four assists as the Oilers routed the Canucks to book a date at home with the Ducks to open the playoffs. McDavid finished the season with 134 points to lead the NHL.


NHL: Blues 5, Mammoth 3

Logan Mailloux scored the go-ahead goal with 2:57 left to play and Robert Thomas had a hat trick as the Blues beat the Mammoth in the regular-season finale for both teams. Clayton Keller assisted on two Utah goals to become the third NHL player this season with at least one assist in 10 straight games.


NHL: Sharks 6, Jets 1

Macklin Celebrini scored his 45th goal of the season, and added two assists to pass Joe Thornton for most points in a single season in Sharks history with 115. Both Winnipeg and San Jose have been eliminated from post-season contention.


Sunny Mehta named Devils general manager

The Devils have hired Sunny Mehta as their sixth general manager in team history. Mehta joins New Jersey after spending six seasons with the Panthers, the last three serving as assistant general manager and head of analytics.
