Wolves 'may have cracked' Akhtyamov but Marlies keep faith in 'best goalie in the playoffs'
After Chicago scored on four of 26 shots to stay alive in the Calder Cup Finals, Wolves coach Spiros Anastas suggested his team may have finally "cracked" Artur Akhtyamov. But John Gruden shrugged off that comment while confirming Akhtyamov will start again Friday. "He has been the best goalie in the playoffs," the Marlies coach said. "I expect him to be great again."
