Golden Knights docked second-round pick for violating media regulations
The National Hockey League announced a stiff penalty for the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday a day after the team failed to make head coach John Tortorella to the media following its 5-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks in Game 6 of their Western Conference semifinal series. The Golden Knights will forfeit a second-round pick in next month’s NHL Entry Draft and Tortorella was fined $100,000 for what the league called “flagrant violations” of media regulations.
