Walter Cup champion Laura Stacey recently hosted her 7th annual “LS7 Foundation #SticksInForCharity” road hockey tournament in her hometown of Etobicoke, Ontario. Stacey won the PWHL “Hockey for All” Award in 2025 for the charity event which supports getting kids active in a variety of ways. The event was another huge success with the LS7 Foundation sharing they’ve already raised more than half of their $177,777 goal. Pascal Rhéaume has been named the new head coach of the PWHL’s Toronto Sceptres. The 52-year-old native of Quebec City played 318 games in the NHL and most recently served as an assistant coach with the American Hockey League’s Bridgeport Islanders. After being introduced, Rhéaume spoke about the importance of a fun atmosphere off of the ice.
PWHL Hamilton is the league’s tenth team and will be ready to play in the 2026–27 season. General manager Meghan Duggan spoke about the five players that have been sign so far, including Brianne Jenner, Emily Clark and Alina Muller, who also spoke about their excitement at this new chapter.
