Yamal expected to miss start of Spain’s FIFA World Cup campaign

Lamine Yamal is expected to miss the start of Spain’s FIFA World Cup campaign as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury. Yamal is set to be sidelined for Spain’s group stage opener against Cape Verde on June 15, and at this stage is a major doubt for their second match against Saudi Arabia on June 21, according to sources with knowledge of his recovery.

Saliba scores his third goal of the season; de Fougerolles exits with an apparent injury

Pep Biel had a goal and an assist, Kerwin Vargas added two assists, and Charlotte FC beat Toronto FC on Saturday night. TFC played on the road for the first time since March 8th and fell to 1-3-0 away from home this season.


MLS: Orlando City 1, Atlanta United 1

Jay Fortune scored late in the second half to rally Atlanta United to a draw with Orlando City on Saturday night. Canadian goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau had three saves in goal for Orlando City.
