Canada’s national team is back in action in loaded fall soccer lineup on TSN

Following a historic performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Canadian men’s national team is back in action for three international friendlies as part of a loaded soccer slate later this fall on TSN. Canada is set to return to home soil for matches against Chile in Toronto on Sept. 26 and Peru in Montreal on Oct. 3, before heading south of the border for a highly anticipated matchup against the United States in Minnesota on Oct. 6.

Ryan Gauld returned to the starting lineup and scored his 50th goal as a Whitecaps player as Vancouver comfortably beat the Galaxy on Wednesday. With the goal, Gauld became the first Whitecaps player in the team’s MLS era to record 50 goals and 50 assists.

FIFA U20 Women's World Cup: Brazil 3, Canada 0

Nogueira scored a penalty in the seventh minute and Brazil added two more goals early in the second half as they defeated Canada at the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup. The loss leaves Canada with one draw and one loss through two games in group stage play.

Kylian Mbappé struck his fifth goal of the season to set Real Madrid on course for a nervy win over Inter Milan in their Champions League opener. The France forward moved level with Madrid great Raul on 71 goals as the competition's fifth-highest all-time scorer with a 14th-minute opener at the Santiago Bernabeu.
