Auger-Aliassime overcomes shaky start to advance to third round of Roland-Garros

Just hours after No. 1 seed Jannik Sinner fell in a stunning upset, Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime is through to the third round of Roland-Garros as the path to the final looks a lot more reasonable. Auger-Aliassime bounced back from a shaky opening set to dominate the 68th-ranked Roman Andres Burruchaga in the second set. He then overcame a break to win the third and dominated the fourth to clinch his spot in the third round.


Jakub Mensik collapses after marathon match at Roland-Garros; Baptiste forced to retire

Jakub Mensik collapsed on court after his second-round win over Mariano Navone which took nearly five hours in intense heat at Roland-Garros on Wednesday. The 26th seed laid on the floor for several minutes before he was able to walk off the court. The heat continued to play a factor Wednesday as American Hailey Baptiste saw her campaign come to a heartbreaking end after suffering a serious injury during her second-round match in Paris.


Second-seeded Rybakina stunned by Starodubtseva at Roland-Garros

Second-ranked Elena Rybakina was stunned by 55th-ranked Ukrainian opponent Yuliia Starodubtseva 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (4) in the second round of Roland-Garros on Wednesday. Rybakina committed 71 unforced errors while falling to her earliest Grand Slam exit since a second-round loss at the 2024 US Open.


Canada's Mboko cruises into second round at Roland-Garros

Canada's Victoria Mboko cruised through her first-round encounter at Roland-Garros 2026, dismissing Czechia's Nikola Bartunkova 6-1, 6-2. The 19-year-old will face another Czech in the second round when she faces off against Katerina Siniakova.


Montreal’s Diallo forced to retire in opening match at Roland Garros

Gabriel Diallo’s time at Roland-Garros didn’t last long as the Canadian was forced to retire with an injury in his opening match on Sunday. The 24-year-old native of Montreal was playing Australia’s James Duckworth in first-round action, but departed in the second set after entering the Grand Slam tournament with back problems.
