Rybakina completed the 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory in 2 hours, 8 minutes to set up a showdown with Aryna Sabalenka in the final.

No. 1 seed Alexander Zverev beat Botic van de Zandschulp 6-2, 7-5, 6-1 on Wednesday night, putting him into the final four of every Grand Slam tournament this season. The French Open champion and Wimbledon runner-up will play Friday against Karen Khachanov.


Khachanov advances to US Open semis after Blockx retires

Karen Khachanov advanced to his third major semifinal on Wednesday at the US Open after Alexander Blockx retired due to injury in the early stages of the third set on Arthur Ashe Stadium. Gauff fights back to beat Andreeva and secure spot in semis at US Open

American Coco Gauff fought off a couple match points in a tiebreaker and beat Mirra Andreeva 2-6, 7-6 (7), 6-2 in the US Open quarterfinals Wednesday, in what was the latest comeback to happen on Arthur Ashe Stadium. Gauff is into her seventh Grand Slam semifinal, where she will face No. 2 Elena Rybakina.
