Canadian Summer McIntosh was out-touched for gold by 0.02 seconds in the women’s 200-metre individual medley at the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships on Saturday. The reigning Olympic and world champion from Toronto took silver behind China's Yu Yiting, who set a championship record with a time of two minutes 7.45 seconds.
The Pan-Canadian women's soccer team brought together athletes from Ontario and Quebec to compete as one at the National Games. Among the highlights was Alessia Simone’s goal against Team BC, helping the Pan-Canadian Team to the 3–0 victory and gold medal.

Ontario’s Michael Bandler had a huge day on the powerlifting platform, earning three gold medals and one silver in the 105.01–120kg weight class. Bandler won gold in the squat (215kg) and deadlift (232.5kg), added silver in the bench press (132.5kg) and took overall gold with a combined 580kg — or 1,279 pounds — across the three lifts.
Team Nova Scotia’s Payton Dicks swept all four gold medals available in the 69.1–76kg weight class. Dicks topped the podium in squat (90kg), bench press (52.5kg) and deadlift (105kg) before securing overall gold with a combined 247.5kg.
